Norvell named a finalist at state event

MEEKER — Monica Norvell, daughter of Dennis and Bonnie Norvell of Meeker, was nominated as a state finalist for the National American Miss competition to be held at the Denver Marriot Tech Center July 25-26.
This pageant is to encourage future leaders. It emphasizes self-confidence, learning new skills, good attitudes and achieving personal goals. Prizes include scholarships and the opportunity to compete in the national competition.
