Church to dedicate worship center

MEEKER I The Meeker United Methodist church would like to invite the community to the dedication and celebration of our new church facility.
This exciting event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 6 starting at 9:45 a.m. The church is located at 809 Park Ave. in Meeker.
We will begin our time of celebration with our praise band leading in praise music and continuing into our regular worship service. We are delighted to have our District Superintendent, Rev. Steve Goodier, representing the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist church, join us for this dedication celebration.
Following our service and dedication of the new facility, an Italian dinner will be provided and all are welcome to join us for the meal and a time of fellowship.
This is an important milestone in the history of the Meeker United Methodist church. Our old church building has served our community in many ways for 115-plus years. Many in our community have been welcomed for many occasions in life that the church plays a role in and many have been involved in or benefited from the food bank and Giving Tree ministries housed in the church. So very many in the community have lovingly supported these outreach ministries and we are excited to provide new and better-equipped space for these services as well as many other opportunities to serve our community.
We are excited to continue to be a part of this wonderful community as we strive to serve and meet the needs of people in our community as we enter into this new facility and experience God’s call as we serve the Lord.
We would be delighted to have you join us for this special occasion and we would like to thank everyone who has worked on, prayed for, or simply encouraged us as we have undertaken, in faith, this wonderful opportunity to be a part of the Christian community in this place we call home, Meeker, Colo.
