RANGELY I A league game against the North Park Lady Wildcats was cancelled last week because of the weather, will be made up tonight in Rangely. The Lady Panthers will also play the Plateau Valley Lady Cowboys in Collbran this Saturday.
Rangely scheduled 5A Fruita Monument’s JV team twice this season, winning the first one but losing Monday in Rangely 55-64.

“We started out really well and then had a lapse in the third quarter,” Mergelman said.
Victoria Phelan scored seven of Rangely’s nine points in the third quarter, while the Lady Wildcats dumped in 23 to take a 10-point lead into the final quarter.
The Lady Panthers scored 22 points in the fourth quarter, Phelan added another six, as did teammate Quincey Thacker but Fruita kept pace to win by nine.
“I thought we finished strong,” Mergelman said of her team’s play in the fourth quarter.
