Bain wins Ford scholarship

MEEKER — Craig Ford Mercury and Ford Motor Company are pleased to announce the award of three $1,000 college scholarships to local graduates.
The scholarships are part of 600 awarded nationally as part of the Built Ford Tough Trucks/FFA Scholarship program which is designed to recognize FFA members talents and accomplishments while encouraging their future academic achievements.
Craig Ford Mercury is proud to support FFA and the Built Ford Tough Trucks/FFA Scholarship program at Moffat County High school, Meeker High School and the Little Snake River Valley High School. Ford has supported FFA since the first F-Series truck was introduced in 1948 and has supported the college scholarship program since 1997, awarding more than $3 million in scholarships.
Receiving this year’s scholarship are Amanda Bain from Meeker, Kaycee Stagner of Craig and Kevin Williams of Slater.
Bain will be attending Colorado State University to study agricultural business management.
Stagner will be attending the University of Wyoming to study pre-vet and vet sciences and Williams will also be attending the University of Wyoming to study landscape architecture.
