Health, wellness expo Saturday

MEEKER I Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Meeker Elementary School, the Meeker Chamber of Commerce has created a fun and helpful way to learn about different health ideas.
The event is sponsored by Pioneers Medical Center, Meeker Recreation Center and Upward Living and will provide five workshops and demonstrations while offering 18 different booths for you to browse and enjoy.
The workshops are: Healthy Snacks for Kids presented by San Jonsson with The Bistro, Growing Up Without Growing Old presented by Faye Peterson with Upward Living, Dr. Amy Que with Meeker Chiropractic, a Zumba demonstration from Kari Jo Stevens with the Meeker Recreation District and Energy Healing by Dr. Michael Que also with Meeker Chiropractic.
The workshops and demonstrations will take place in the cafeteria and stage area, where local and venders from Craig and Glenwood Springs will be set up in the gym. With a list as diverse as this, there is sure to be something for everyone. The list includes; Doterra Essential Oils from Glenwood Springs, Natural Health Center from Craig, as well as Crystal Sanctuary of Craig. The local county health nurse, Brian Watson Massage, Arbonne Natural Skin Care, AreoCare, AA Support Group, Meeker Recreation District, Upward Living, Meeker Drug, Dawn’s Massage, Bar 7 Natural Beef, Weight Watchers, Pioneers Medical Center, Meeker Chiropractic, Bistro Park Ave., and Farm Bureau will all be available for your questions and even free services and products.
This is an exciting, informative event designed to promote healthy living in the area and provide a fun environment to learn fresh ideas to achieve this lifestyle.
Everyone is welcome and admission is free, there will be prizes given throughout the day so come take part in the Health and Wellness Expo.
