Bellco to close Meeker office

Bellco Credit Union customers in Meeker will lose the convenience of having a local branch office next month. Citing the “significant cost” of maintaining the branch “due to the location,” the credit union has decided to close the Meeker branch, effective Friday, May 13.
“We understand that the change will have a significant impact on our members in Meeker and the surrounding areas and we’re doing everything possible to make it easy for them to continue to bank with us,” said representative Kimberly Langston in a press release.
Bellco will provide an ATM for cash withdrawals at Go-fer Foods, options for shared branching with other credit unions, full services through Bellco’s Grand Junction office, online banking, mobile banking and automated phone banking.
