The Meeker Elementary School garden is flourishing after a summer restoration project led by Ann Franklin through Yampatika, with support from ERBM Recreation & Park District, school staff, local businesses and volunteers. The Growing with Yampatika program gave local kids hands-on experience while helping revive overgrown beds.

    What an incredible community effort! So wonderful to see Meeker Elementary’s garden brought back to life and creating a space where students can learn, explore, and connect with where their food comes from. Big Thank You to Ann, Yampatika, ERBM, the school staff, local businesses, and all of the volunteers who helped make this happen. This is hands-on environmental education at its best! Well done all!
