Obituary: Johnny Q. Dominguez Feb. 25, 1970 ~ April 23, 2011

A rosary was recited for Johnny Q. Dominguez, 41, of Amarillo, Texas, Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 28, 2011, 10 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011, in Amarillo, Texas.
Johnny was born Feb. 25, 1970, in Roswell, NM. He lived in Rangely for five years after he was discharged from the military. He was currently employed with Micro Beef in Amarillo, Texas, as a truck driver. He loved to fish, dance, listen to music and was a funny prankster who loved to make people laugh. His smile will be missed by all his family and close friends.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Irma Meza of Dexter; children Crystal Dominguez of Arizona; Elizabeth Dominguez of Colorado; Darian Dominguez of Texas; Alycia Dominguez of Colorado; and Johnny Dominguez Jr. of Texas; sisters Yvonne Canales, Kathy Vigil, Annie Salazar, Dolores Salazar, Helen Dominguez, Veronica Marquez, Lupe Dominguez, Ruby Meza, Rosa Meza and Kathy Kautz, all of Roswell; brothers Henry Dominguez, Alex Dominguez, Carlos Meza, Paul Meza, and Bonifacio Meza, all of Roswell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bonifacio and Josephine Dominguez, and brother Johnnie Archuleta.
The family would like to give a special “thanks” to Micro Beef for the compassion and support they gave Johnny throughout the last year of his life and sister-in-law Florence Dominguez.
