RANGELY I Haeley Enterline has been selected to play in an all-state soccer game this Friday. Enterline was the goal keeper for the Rangely High School soccer team and was also named as an all-conference selection this year. The all-state game will be held in Gate Soccer Park at Colorado Mountain College’s Spring Valley Center in Glenwood Springs on June 3 at 7 p.m. The second annual memorial all-state games consist of two teams selected from the all-conference teams.Enterline was a very clear choice based on her statistics. In one game this year she had 29 of 32 saves. When asked about her selection, Haeley said, “I am nervous because I don’t know what to expect but I am glad to have been selected.”Her coach, Patsy Wanstedt, is confident she will do a great job. “She is pretty awesome,” Wanstedt said of Enterline. Wanstedt went on to discuss Haeley’s outstanding play throughout the season. Enterline will be a senior next year and will again be a tri-sport athlete. In fact, she is working hard to schedule the all-state game in-between volleyball and basketball. Her selection to play on the all-state team makes her the first soccer selection from Rangely. Certainly the school will be well-represented.
