n St. James Sunday school boys and girls enjoyed a fine Christmas Eve program at the rectory Thursday evening; not the least of the good things being plenty to eat.
n On Thursday, Dec. 24 school closed for Christmas holidays. In all the grades the children were treated to candy and nuts by the teachers. The rooms were beautifully decorated with real holly, mistletoe, Christmas bells and blooming plants.
n The long talked of and much desired electric railway between Meeker and Rifle is assuming tangible shape. Articles incorporating such an enterprise were filed with County Clerk Scott this week. A well-built electric railway between Meeker and Rifle will pay from the start.
n The Violet B. McCoy Dramatic Company will be at Odd Fellows’ hall Jan. 4, with new plays and new people. For one week. Popular prices.
