Special Olympics b’ball shines at State event

RANGELY — The Rangely Special Olympics basketball team traveled to Lakewood on March 21-22 to compete at the Special Olympics State Basketball tournament at the Gold Crown Field House.
The team of Special Olympics athletes Russell Moore, Edilia Flores, Jeremy Gohr and BJ Millsaps competed along with unified partners Bryce Gohr, Chase Kinney, Jeremiah Dorsey, Bo Armstrong, Kendall Wilson and Cody Kinney.
The team did well and came home with a bronze medal.
Thank you to all the parents who traveled to Lakewood to help support our team.
We really appreciated having them at the tournament to cheer on the team.
