Letter to the Editor: Brown family expresses thanks

Dear Editor:
Our family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the members of The Church at Meeker, Pastor Mike Dinwiddie and pianist Nancy Amick for the special service they provided for our mom, Marion Lake. She would have been pleased, especially with the old-time hymns, many of her favorites. Elaine Ellis, thank you for providing a wonderful meal.
A special thank you to the home health ladies for providing Mom with great care. This care enabled her to fulfill her wish to live in her home. She was especially fond of Vickie Crawford who paid her special attention and gave great back rubs.
Last, but definitely not least, thank you to her special friend Ruby Hart for the years of friendship and to her family, friends and neighbors who kept her entertained and enjoying life for 94 years. God bless you all.
