Ed Case passed away Jan. 4, 2012, in Denver, Colo., where he had lived for several years.
Edward “Ed” Everett Case, Jr. was born on a ranch near Craig, Colo., Feb. 25, 1932, to parents Edward “Everett” Sr. and Lena Miller Case. He attended school in Craig, Meeker, Kremmling and Rifle, graduating from high school at Rifle. Ed had several occupations before being employed by Mercedes Benz. He also spent two years with the Peace Corps in Tunisia.
Ed raised four children: Mike, Susan (Jim), Janice (Robert) and Jill (Marc). Ed was predeceased by his parents Everett and Lena Case, two infant sisters, sister Beverly Peyton and sons Edward and Michael. He is survived by his wife Karen of Denver, sisters Barbara (Curt) Helwick of Casper, Wyo., Phyllis (Frank) of Grand Junction, brothers Bill (Hope) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jim (Maryl) of Collbran, Colo., daughters Susan and Janice of California, Jill of Maryland and several grandchildren.
Ed was cremated with his ashes being buried next to his infant son in Rifle where memorial services were held Jan. 22, 2012.
