Obituary: Eunice Nye

Eunice Claire Nye died July 17, 2012, following a brief illness. She was born on Nov. 30, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., to Louis and Tena Bandstra. Eunice married Alvan Nye on Dec. 6, 1959, in Aspen, Colo.
She is survived by her husband, Alvan of Meeker; sons Keith (Valerie) Nye of San Manuel, Ariz., Kevin (Jan) Nye of Meeker, daughter Tena (Mike Theos) of Denver, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pioneer Healthcare Foundation c/o Hospice of White River Valley, 345 Cleveland, Meeker, Colo., 81641.
