Mobile pantry will be in Meeker today
MEEKER | Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR) mobile pantry truck will be in Meeker providing assistance to community members today, Thursday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. CNCC’s 50th anniversary tourney Sat.
RANGELY | Golfers are invited to participate in CNCC’s 50th Anniversary Golf Tournament Saturday, Sept. 29 at Cedar Ridges Golf Course in Rangely. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams as well as free gifts, hole prizes, lunch and more. This is be a 10 a.m. shotgun start, 18-hole, four-person scramble. The entry fee is $200 per team. Fairfield Trust grants due Oct. 1
MEEKER | The Freeman Fairfield Trust’s semi-annual grant application deadline is 5 p.m., Monday, Oct. 1, 2012. Applications may be mailed to P.O. Box 2302, Meeker, CO or delivered to Diane Dunham, 438 E Market. Mailed applications must be received, not postmarked by Oct. 1. Applications are available from Diane or any Freeman Fairfield Trust committee member.

Community blood drive Oct. 2
RANGELY | There will be a community blood drive in Rangely on Oct. 2 at Rangely High School from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring photo ID.

“Gifts from the Home” workshop Oct. 6
MEEKER | The RBC Extension Office is hosting a “Gifts from the Home” workshop on Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the extension office. Cost is $20. For more information and to reserve your spot. Call 878-9490.
