Historical Society annual election held

MEEKER | The Rio Blanco County Historical Society’s Annual Meeting was held Jan. 13 at Kilowatt Korner. The board provided homemade soups and breads and our members brought delicious salads and desserts. Everyone enjoyed the 2012 year in review slide show. Discussion followed with this year’s events and ideas for fundraisers. This year’s election was also held.
Officers and board members for 2013 are: president Ellene Meece, vice president Gayle Rogers, treasurer Trudi Burri, secretary Sue Hicken, and board members Joe Sullivan, Hallie Blunt, Sparky Pappas, Patty Anderson, Chris Uphoff and Tony Weiss.
