RBC I Like a championship team that recruits new players to maintain its dominance, the community-focused team at The Memorial Hospital at Craig is welcoming three new, highly regarded physicians to the hospital’s already robust emergency, family medicine and OB/GYN departments. Dr. Nadia Iovettz-Tereshchenko, a skilled emergency room physician from California, reported to TMH’s emergency and trauma department Jan. 16. She most recently served as an emergency medicine physician for Kaiser Permanente in North Valley, Calif., where the busy emergency room treats several thousand patients each year. A familiar face will return to the medical staff at The Memorial Hospital at Craig on Feb. 4. Dr. James Summers, an admired obstetrician and gynecologist who worked at TMH from 2003-08, will join Dr. Scott Ellis in providing regional women’s health services. Summers has worked in rural and urban settings throughout his 13-year OB/GYN career, including Canon City, Kremmling, Steamboat Springs and Denver, Colo.; and Missoula, Mont. Dr. Jon Hamilton, a 10-year family medicine physician voted “favorite family practitioner” in Tulsa, Okla., in 2010 and 2011, will begin seeing patients on Feb. 15, . He will be the fifth member of the family medicine team now comprised of three physicians and two physician assistants. To make an appointment with either Dr. Summers or Dr. Hamilton, call 970-826-2400. To learn more about TMH, visit www.thememorialhospital.com.
