Obituary: Lorain Brady

Lorain Brady
Lorain Brady
Lorain Brady, the most amazing and selfless husband, father and grandfather, age 81, passed away April 18, 2013, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah. He was born March 30, 1932, in Duchesne, Utah, to Lowell and Thelma Jasperson Brady.
Lorain graduated from Uintah High School in 1950. He married his eternal sweetheart, Donnalee Pitney, on July 9, 1956, in Rangely, Colo. That marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple in Salt Lake City. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served the Lord faithfully with great dedication throughout his life.
Other than his family, Lorain’s love of life was sheep and cattle ranching and operating heavy equipment. He took great pride in his work and always strived for perfection in all things. Lorain will forever be remembered as someone who loved everyone unconditionally, someone who could fix anything and someone who loved to serve others.
Lorain is survived by: his wife, Donnalee of Mt. Pleasant; children, Neil L. Brady of Astatula, Fla.; Gloria Warren (Gary) of Vernal, Utah; Christine Burbank (JW) of Roosevelt, Utah; Brent Walker Brady (Cheryl) of Hamilton, Colo.; Anne McEntire (Jared) of Elko, Nev.; Dana Kay Asay (Allen) of Birmingham, Ala.; Barton Shane Brady (Paulene) of Rangely, Colo.; Shanna Holgreen (Wayne) of Mt.
