Meeker has two 8-10 teams playing in the Parks and Recreation League, but neither could field a full team for games at Paintbrush Park on Monday. Having only eight players didn’t keep Meeker I from beating a team from Craig 12-4. Playing on the winning team were Pakye Potetz, Trinden Powell, Ryan Phelan, John Hampton Hightower, Liam Deming, Bradey Potetz and Damek Chintala, with coach Jason Hightower. Not pictured are Kyle Wangnild and Peter Hanks.
Having eight players cost Meeker II its third out with two-men on, down 2-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning. Playing for Meeker II on Monday were Damon Dade, Kaleb Nielsen, Pete Hanks, Dagon Dade in front. Coach Jim Hanks, Carter Strate, Braden Garcia, Gave Richardson, Landon Moomey and coach John Strate.
