Large load traveling Highway 13 today

RBC — An oversized load, headed to the new Williams Gas Plant in the Piceance Creek Basin, will make its way through Rio Blanco County today and Friday.
The load, which weighs 356,000 pounds and is 113 feet long, will leave Baggs, Wyo., Thursday morning, traveling Highway 13.
“It will leave Baggs around 6:30 Thursday morning, with a police escort,” said Rebecca Henderson, a spokeswoman for the escort company. “If all goes well, it will come through the area around 1 p.m.”
Henderson said the load will be parked for the night two miles north of County Road 5.
“Friday morning, it will move from there to the plant (on County Road 5),” Henderson said.
