BLM to conduct prescribed burn

RANGELY — The Bureau of Land Management’s White River Field Office is set to begin a 300-acre prescribed burn 10 miles east of Rangely, Colo., soon.
The burn, south of Highway 64 in Lower Fletcher Gulch, was scheduled to begin Wednesday if weather is favorable. It will take two to three days to complete. Smoke will be visible from State Highway 64 and Rio Blanco County Road 122.
