Veterans Day events

RBC | Events are planned by the Veterans of Foreign Wars chapters in Rangely and Meeker on Monday, which is Veterans Day.
In Meeker, there will be a public observance of Veterans Day at the Rio Blanco County Courthouse at 11:45 a.m. That will be followed by lunch at Barone Middle School at 12:45 p.m., and that will be followed by an assembly at the school. These events are being sponsored by the Meeker Chamber of Commerce.
In Rangely, all veterans and their families are invited to a noon barbecue at the Elks Lodge, 633 East Main St. The event is sponsored by Alliance Energy.
