Red Ribbon Week and Drug Awareness took place at Meeker Elementary School from Oct. 21-24. The Meeker Police Department come to school and taught each class about drug awareness and how to make good choices. Meeker Police Lt. Phil Stubblefield and Officer Wes Severson, with his drug dog, Niko, answered questions, gave demonstrations and instructed the students on what they need to know for their safety.
