Meeker Fire Chief Steve Allen, left, and Meeker Emergency Medical Services Director Matt Lyons, right, presented Deby Merriam with an award of recognition on Saturday night at the 81st annual Meeker Volunteer Fire and Rescue Banquet at the Fairfield Center. She served as EMS interim director twice, when two past EMS directors passed away. Music for dancing was provided by Two Rivers Production and the dinner was catered by Ma Famiglia. Roughly
