Tanner Bowen awarded medical internship in Okla.

MEEKER I Tanner Bowen, a Biomedical Science Academy student at Wes Watkins Technology Center, has been awarded the prestigious Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) internship. This summer, he will work as a Fleming Scholar intern, a program developed to identify and stimulate the scientists of tomorrow. Bowen is a senior at Weleetka (Okla.) High School and is the son of Kelly and Diana Bowen. He is the grandson of the late William E. Cline and Peggy Cline of Okemah, and late Roy McMahan and June McMahan and the late Harvey Bowen of Meeker.
