In response to the closure of Meeker Drugs downtown and the delayed opening of a retail pharmacy at Pioneers Medical Center, the pharmacy at Rangely District Hospital, in conjunction with the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and the Rio Blanco County Department of Public Health and Environment, and PMC, have established an interim plan to get prescriptions to patients in Meeker who are on Medicare or have urgent medication needs.
