Dear Editor:
It’s time to decide if Gary Moyer will remain in office for the remainder of his term, or be replaced by someone who will work towards what’s bet for Rio Blanco County. As in any election people should research articles, accusations, evidence, witnesses, etc. to decide who is the best candidate and for the majority of the citizens. I urge you to vote wisely for the betterment of RBC for now and into the future, NOT for individual gain. I feel Gary may have a hard time differentiating this concept. Perhaps he is trying to be “the good ol’ boy” or to just win friends?
Moyer has stated and I quote, “local government should provide services in a fair, respectful and professional manner consistent with the customs and culture of the citizens of RBC.” I personally find Gary neither fair nor professional nor oftentimes respectful to others! I have witnessed this myself first hand. When several of the commissioners go directly against an RBC law (re: Article 15 of the Land Use Regulations concerning rubbish and junk) to not enjorce that law, I will never understand how that can be fair or professional!
On a side note, I would like to see a list of what the presently seated Commissioners have truly accomplished for the betterment of our county while in office. It may be a fairly short list! We as a county have had plenty of good Commissioners and will again, but I question two of those currently in office.
Vote for what’s good for RBC now and always.
