Don Reed served the town of Rangely as utility supervisor in 2017 after Alden VandenBrink moved on to the Rio Blanco Water Conservancy District. Reed served as crew leader prior to 2017 and retired after 14 years at the water treatment plant for 14 years in December 2022. He retired to a honey-do list that includes a bathroom renovation and painting. He and his wife Ingrid are looking forward to retirement together and will continue to call Rangely home for the time being. Michael Dillion and Emily Templeton took over for Reed and thanked him for his leadership and dedication to the town.
