White River Electric hosted its 30th annual golf tournament and fundraiser Friday, June 13 and had 75 players participate. The event was co-sponsored by Mountain Valley Bank and $3,000 was raised as a result of the event.

The funds will be used for repairs to the mower.
Winners of the annual five-person scramble were, Todd Gerloff, Jim Hanks, Jesse Jackson, Pat Walsh (team captain) and Andy Hanks, who scrambled to a nine-under-par 59, to win.
