Rangely Outdoor Museum hosts the annual ice cream social, featuring handmade ice creams. Those interested in participating in the competition should call the museum at 675-2612 before Friday morning, and bring a gallon of homemade ice cream to the museum by 4 p.m. (See the ad on Page 1B for details.)RANGELY I As of Tuesday, organizer Brenda Hopson said she has not received any entries for the annual ice cream social, set for the Rangely Outdoor Museum, held in conjunction with Septemberfest on Sunday.
Hopson wants to remind all the ice cream makers in the area that the ice cream social is at 1 p.m. on Sunday but that those who plan to enter the ice cream-making contest must have their entries in by Friday at 5 p.m.
Hopson also wanted to remind everyone that first prize is $125, second place is $75 and third prize is $50.
