Close to 100 people took part in the annual Cast, Blast & Twang event at Nine Mile Guest Ranch last Saturday. Participants of all ages and backgrounds received personal instruction from Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers, got hands-on experience in shotgun shooting, .22 shooting, archery, and fly fishing, and were treated to lunch on-site. The event is a collaborative effort between Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Nine Mile Ranch, RTS Hunting LLC, JML Outfitters and Bonehead Outfitters.
