Michael Steven Gilson, 60, passed away in Rangely, Colo., Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014.
He was born on May 3, 1954, to Glen Clifford and Agnes Christine Gilson in Peyson, Utah.
Michael was preceded in death by: his parents; his infant sister, Lila Ruth Gilson; and a brother, Glen Ray Gilson.
He is survived by: his wife, Nancy Jean Gilson; his son, Casey (Rebekah) Gilson and their children, T.S., Olivia and BettyLou Jarvis; his daughter, Julie (Christopher) Sheppard and their children, Zoe and Abby Sheppard, all of Rangely, Colo.; his siblings, Dean (Maureen) Gilson, of Filmore, Utah, Patricia (Gil) Trujillo and sister-in-law, Donna (Ray) Gilson of St. George, Utah, Glenna Gilson, William (Ernestine) Gilson and Larry Gilson of Price, Utah, Judy (Val) Roberts, of Brigham City, Utah, Jean Rodrigues of East Carbon, Utah, and Sally (Bruce) Anderson of Bluffdale, Utah.
The family is planning a memorial service in the near future to be held in Price, Utah.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mesa Funeral Service of Grand Junction, Colo.
