Did you make it through the Great Internet Outage of September okay?!
If you notice the print edition looks a bit funky, it’s because mom/Niki had to send our pages to the printer in Montrose one at a time via cell phone hotspot! It took a lonnnnnnnng time, but it worked.
After all that, I fully understand how we’ve become so impatient as a society. Thanks to everyone who worked hard to get us connected to the WWW again!
Vintage Haven is our Marketing Mixology spotlight this month and they are hosting some very fun events for you to enjoy to get into the pumpkin spice/sweater weather spirit! There will be a fall candle-making class Sept. 19 and a cozy book group discussion Sept. 26! Sign yourself (and a friend) up now!
You can read all about Vintage Haven, which is located in the Hugus Building, on page 6 of this week’s edition and right here on the website.
I took some photos and video in the space yesterday and the vibes are ✨ ON POINT. ✨ You can reserve it for events, photo shoots, or even to lay on that pink couch all by yourself to enjoy blissful silence and contemplated your life choices …
… maybe the last one is just me. Although after the reactions to the internet outage, it seems a lot of us might need some quiet time. 👀 👀 👀
