On Dec. 10, 2024, Rangely Elks Lodge hosted their annual Hoop Shoot contest. Nineteen shooters from Rangely entered the contest. The divisions are 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13 for boys and girls. Each contestant shoots 25 free throws in the competition. The event was very competitive with a lot of good shooting by the participants.
