Introducing The Board Room: Showing charcuterie love

MEEKER | A beloved concept is returning to town with the launch of The Board Room, a gathering space offering gourmet food and catering. The new establishment will feature fresh to-go options, custom charcuterie boards, private event catering, retail specialty cheeses, and a dedicated tasting area to host classes and experiences. Look for the outdoor patio space this spring.

Owned and operated by Laurie and Bruce Holmlund, The Board Room is a passion project for Laurie, who has a background in business management and experience in the food industry. Her love of artisan cheese and artful pairings made the business the perfect template for her cuisine creativity. The couple celebrates their eighth year of marriage this Valentine’s Day marking another reason for celebration, alongside their two daughters Jayden and Ryann, aged six and eight.

To celebrate its grand opening, The Board Room is hosting a special collaboration with five local businesses: Mountain Charisma, Bluebell Boutique, Home.Made, The Mend Spa, and Off the Olive Branch. Each business contributes an item essential to their offering and celebrates the love Meeker has for small businesses. Customers can preorder this exclusive Valentine’s bundle using the QR code below. Pickups and deliveries will take place on Feb. 14 alongside their grand opening beginning at 12 p.m.

The Board Room will be open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., at 317 E Market St., Suite 3A in collaboration with Off the Olive Branch’s expansion to the neighboring suite, bringing a new gourmet destination to the heart of Meeker.
