📰 Community News Roundup ~ April 3, 2025

The month of April kicked off with plenty of soggy white stuff and a low of 5 degrees yesterday morning. Brr. Never fear, the forecast has us warming up to the low 70s late next week. A word of advice, do not put your winter clothes away, turn off your furnace, take the extra blanket off your bed, or swap out your snow tires yet. Based on anecdotal evidence and past experience, those activities are practically guaranteed to make more snow appear!

We are beginning to get responses coming in from candidates for the special district board elections on May 6. We’ll be publishing those Q&As throughout the month of April so you are prepared and ready to vote. Note: if you are a candidate and haven’t received your questions via email, please call the Herald at 970-878-4017 ASAP!
