
The Rio Blanco County 4-H Livestock Judging team of Brodee Kilduff (left) and Hattie Brennan of Meeker (center), and Ally Black (right) of Rangely, demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork in the Washington County Livestock Judging Contest. The contest, held in Akron, Colorado, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, featured about 85 juniors and 55 seniors. The team earned 10th High Team in Beef, sixth High Team in Sheep & Goat, second High Team in Swine, fourth High Team in Reasons and fifth High Team Overall out of 20 junior teams. Brennan achieved individual rankings including third High Individual in Sheep and Goat, fourth High Individual in Swine, first High Individual in Reasons and sixth High Individual Overall, accumulating points toward all-state. Black secured fifth High Individual in Swine. The team’s success is noteworthy given its status as a three-person team competing against four-person teams.
