MEEKER | The three special districts having elections for board seats on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, include the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District, the Eastern Rio Blanco Health Services District (the hospital), and the Rio Blanco Fire Protection District.
All three districts will use the Fairfield Center (200 Main St.) as a centralized polling location from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6.
If you received an absentee ballot for the rec district election and are not an absentee voter, it’s because you opted in to the rec district’s permanent mail ballot option during a previous election. That rec district absentee ballot can be mailed, dropped off in the dropbox at the courthouse, or brought to the Fairfield Center on May 6 when you cast your votes for fire district and hospital district board candidates.
