Sir: Agent Meeker, of the White River Agency, Colorado, under date of the 30th ultimo, reports having purchased under an existency 146 pounds of rope, for use in “rounding up” his cattle for branding, etc. at a cost of $28.47 and requests that his action be approved, which I have the honor to recommend.
