Come work on the trails May 2-4
MEEKER | MAMBA, the BLM and ERBM Recreation and Park District will be doing a volunteer work weekend on the mornings of May 2,3,4. Come join the crew and help get the trails cleaned up and ready for a long summer of adventure. The BLM and ERBM will have extra tools. Some drinks and snacks will be provided. Bring your backpack and work gloves and meet at the Hill Street Ute Park trail entrance at 8 a.m.

MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library Book Club is excited to announce our next read: “The Lonely Hearts Book Club” by Lucy Gilmore. We will be meeting at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, May 12, at 1 p.m. to discuss the book. If you’d like to participate or read the book on your own, extra copies are available to check out at the library.

Local Working Group in Rangely May 14
RANGELY | Hosted by the White River and Douglas Creek Conservation Districts and NRCS, we are collecting feedback from the local community to gain insight into key local natural resource concerns. This information will help identify and develop conservation projects in partnership with local producers. Natural resource concerns range from water quality, irrigation, forest health, streambank restoration, and wildlife to rangeland health and more. Funding is available to support eligible projects Wednesday, May 14, 6-8pm at the CNCC Weiss Building (500 Kennedy Dr.) Food and beverages included. Questions call 970-878-9838.
Rio Blanco Stockgrowers Association Annual Banquet May 17
MEEKER | Mark your calendars for the Rio Blanco Stockgrowers on Saturday, May 17 at the 4-H Community Center (not the Fairfield!).
