MEEKER | After swearing in Amanda Smith to the trustee position vacated by Tiffany Jehorek, Meeker’s Board of Trustees heard a presentation from YouthZone. The 50-year-old program, which is based in Glenwood Springs, provides nonprofit, comprehensive services for youth in the Ninth Judicial District, including substance abuse treatment, life sklls groups, and restorative justice, with the goal of reducing risk, developing family relationships and improving mental health.
