Jumping in for a brief HELLO this week. The -ber (or BRRR) months have officially arrived. Get out to the Sheepdog Trials this weekend and enjoy what is expected to be beautiful September weather and a well-deserved time of community celebration.
Apologies to all y’all who tried to click on the front page at the bottom of last week’s newsletter and it took you to the previous week’s edition. Something went awry with the link on the back side. Ah, technology. Our friend and our foe, depending on the day. In the event that happens again (and it probably will, in one form or another) please know that paid subscribers can get to the current edition, or any other week back to the last six weeks of 2011 via the Archives tab.
Also of note, there were some reports from state legislators, an update from CNCC, and some sports stories we ran out of room for this week. Those are posted on the website.
School’s back in session, high school sports are underway, and the leaves are about to turn. It must be almost autumn!
