RANGELY — Former Rangely residents David and Becky Maybury of Battlement Mesa are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Merridy to Cody Abbott, son of Susan and Dan Hoover of Battlement Mesa and Rick Abbott of Missouri.
Merridy is a 2005 graduate from Grand Valley High School and is employed by Dr. Dean in Grand Junction as an EFDA-certified dental assistant. Cody is a 2002 graduate from Grand Valley High School and is employed by BNS Services. The wedding will take place Aug. 8 in Grand Junction.
