Community News Roundup ~ Oct. 23, 2025

Happy Herald Day!

History matters around here, both to us as one of the county’s oldest businesses and as residents of a place that cherishes its storied past. We’re thrilled to have some treasures from the family of Meeker Herald founder James Lyttle on display in the office now.

A lot is going on around town as fire recovery efforts continue, hunting season is underway, and we prepare for Halloween next Friday. Mark your calendar for the Ashes to Action event next Saturday (Nov. 1) at 5 p.m. at the Fairfield Center.

Also, in case you miss the QR code, the Conservation Districts are seeking input for long-range planning via a brief survey you can fill out here: http://bit.ly/42RKLzB
