Donna J. Flynn, 54, of Fort Lupton, died Aug. 22, 2008, in the Hospice Unit at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
Donna Jean Prockup was born May 10, 1954, in Meeker, the daughter of Joseph and Doris (Tagert) Prockup.
As a small girl the family lived in Rangely and later Donna attended school in Meeker, graduating with the Meeker High School Class of 1972.
She attended Mesa College as well as Pikes Peak Institute of Medical Technology in Colorado Springs.
On July 21, 1982, Donna was united in marriage to Roger Flynn in Rifle. The couple lived in Rifle where Donna worked at a bank. In 1993 the family moved to Rock Springs, Wyo., where Donna devoted her time to being a homemaker, wife and mother.
Donna loved the time she spent with her horses, dogs and cats. She enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking in the mountains and snow skiing. Earlier this year the family moved to Fort Lupton where she was living at the time of her death.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Roger, one son, Cody, of Laramie, Wyo., her mother, Doris Prockup of Meeker and one sister, Janet Dole of Grand Junction. Her father, Joseph has preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 25 from Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment was made in the Highland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado through Cochran Memorial Chapel which was entrusted with the arrangements.
