Rosemary was born in Steamboat Springs to Marzella Gammill Vancleave and Arthur Vancleave on Aug. 7, 1939, and moved to Meeker the summer of her junior year. She and Don fell in love and became boyfriend and girlfriend. After graduation in 1958, Rosemary headed off to cosmetology school in Denver.
