Over the past few weeks, I have found myself thinking a great deal about why I continue to care so deeply about the White River Museum and the work of the Rio Blanco County Historical Society.

The answer is actually very simple.

I do not do this work because of a title, a position, or because of who happens to be serving on the board at any given time.
