RANGELY I March 31 was a special day for 26 CNCC freshman students on the Rangely campus. The 26 students were inducted to Phi Theta Kappa, the Beta Epsilon Tau Chapter, which is the Chapter for CNCC Rangely campus only.
PTK is the largest honor society in American higher education for two-year colleges. The four hallmarks for Phi Theta Kappa are fellowship, leadership, scholarship and service.
Each semester, invitations for membership are extended by the chapter to students without advanced degrees who have completed at least 12 hours of courses which are leading them to an associate’s degree and who have at least a grade point average of a 3.5.
