MEEKER I In the March 26 edition of the Herald Times, incorrect information was reported in a story on the front page titled, “MSD narrows district superintendent finalists…”
The story stated that former Meeker superintendent of schools Karen Benner was hired to return to Meeker briefly and help the board vet the candidates.
In fact, Benner was not hired. Janelle Urista, the MSD finance director, said Benner volunteered her services to help vet the candidates and has not been given any reimbursement for expenses.
