MEEKER I On June 26, the Meeker Young Timers will hold a barbecue at 6:30 p.m. in Meeker Town Park.
Individuals 20 to 30 years old or young at heart or those who are newcomers to the Meeker area are invited as the event offers an excellent chance to meet new people, to network or just to make new friends. Those who plan to attend should plan to bring fishing poles or volleyballs or horseshoes and walking shoes.
Hamburgers from 5280 Meat (Ty and Rachel Gates’ grass-fed beef) will be provided, but please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
Attendees are asked to please RSVP to the Meeker Chamber of Commerce at 970-878-5510 or on the chamber’s Facebook group by 5 p.m. on June 24.
